why use the omelets for stamina food when the salads are exactly the same amount of stamina but cost no eggs? the salads are practically free as all of the mats are just plants you find (cloudberries, mistberries) or onions

I'f my character became a working tribe member I wouldn't care.. But it's kinda dumb they just sit there if you switch to somewhere else..

Swift pace + mixed jam is 19% move speed. Huge quality of life

Honestly i think its weak it deals +10 slash damage in comparison to flametal single handed sword with elecrical buff but it does not have any other effect, also the electric damage is still better.

I can play happy with default settings except for Awareness. Very annoying getting the mask's spendy points up.

"steel body" makes you when attacked immune to hitstun while above 50% resilence but not sure about the attacked part cause ill be attacking and they perfect block but then i just laugh and keep beating them down. makes fights feel so much smoother cause unles im not letting my resilence recover by going from fight to fight i almost never worry about the ai perfect blocking me.

Best way to farm for static recovery: let the comatose barb reach 0 satiety and 0 hydration... they won't lose health quick enough from starving to outweigh the healing from the talent.

don't remember the name of the Talent (guy died while i was leveling his skills) but he had 25% chance to heal for 30% of attack. was a claw tribe member, just looked was called "crave for blood"

Firespark. You need to do a follower ability beakdown like we know you can do. We need to know the limits of the followers. How far can they do work away from the base/starting point. What impedes them. doorways, multi level buildings etc. Test this Ai for us.

You said "it's ammo is expensive" ehhhhhh why are we ignoring the Carapace bolts, absolutely never ran out of carapace.

Everyone here saying it'll be good in the deep north: guys. It does 10 fire damage, and that doesn't increase upon upgrade. That's not good damage at all. Plus, the majority of the damage is slash, same as the other swords. However, the other swords have options of higher damage AND better side effects. I think the dyrnwyn needs AT LEAST 70 fire damage in order to really be effective.

I love how people complain about the difficulty of the game. That's the point of this game. Switch on your brain and it will be a nice experience. Your ancestors didn't survive by complaining about how hard life is.

Why not play creator mode and spawn everything

Even more aggravating is that their "vision" is that you can't customize tribesmen too. So not only the Main Caracter is absolutly craps, but you are forced to play anyone that the rng rolls good stats for you. Might be a much overweight old lady, or like in my case a 12yo kiddo.

You can set the auto bandage, eat, and drink settings under the behaviour settings when you hold E on your follower.

Staff of the Wild is king, not frost staff. I've taken out such large groups with that, just kite around your own vines and watch them wreck everything. It's also fun to throw a giant flaming skeleton troll in the mix to rampage.

Love the Heal the Wounded perk, I actually prefer enemies on my tribesmen because they can soak more damage than myself (dumb ai excluded). Battle Tested 3 is a must, if not then they're base tribesmen only, lol! LoS around a corner, charge up a full heavy hammer, then spam quick heavy hammer. Enemy puree, bwahaha

If you are new to this game my absolute biggest tip is to turn your main hq base into a massive resource harvesting farm once you unlock the plant harvester and species growers. Then you will have unlimited resources with 0 work and you can power almost every new base with plant matter power factories. It's amazing and super cool to build and watch. I actually filled my entire hq map to the point I have no more water I can harvest to build more farms, it's impossible to run out of resources now.

Goes to show, technology is king in war. ;)

For me issue is my followers started to destroy their gear(idk why) instead let it in eq for repair u need to craft them few sets with defense mods and durability as well + dmg reduction

I think people need to get over it, because it's something new. If we always kept ourselves in a box we would never learn to like new things. grow up people.

I think the easiest answer for everyone is a slider. Official servers are true to the original way they intend play, but unofficial and single player/with friends you can choose 1 ("I" skills are 50). 2 (skills are 60). 3 (skills are 90) 4 (skills are 120). If player chooses 3 make initial characters skills all cap at 90. Gives your "I" more power, but if you want to max out you have to switch eventually. If 4 is chosen "I" is god tier and all skills are 120 meaning you never have to switch. So on and so on. I also think it would be great if there was more of a connection with the original character and the mask. Like. If "I" is wearing the mask gain a permanent 20% xp gain for mask and awareness xp or something along those lines. I do reallllllly like the throne idea however! Maybe obtained in a starter dungeon. It allows the mask to seamlessly switch to anyone within its/bonfire range. Can be upgraded with modules in other dungeons that give various tribe wide buffs or something.

Trash game big waste of time and over complicated not gaming friendly. Don't waste your cash buy something else.

well getting the respawn machine is pretty difficult to get at first, so most people are probably playing the main character for respawn purposes and dont want to risk losing their better guys

Your chieftan idea makes a lot of sense. What I think would help a lot as well is making it more clear early on, in whichever way, that your character isn't THE character, so people don't go in *expecting* to play the character they created.

you can also set your followers preferred fighting style (defensive, ranged, offensive) and what % they use bandages at. i set mine to defensive they may not do as much damage wise but they block alot

I just got what I call a counter master tribesman Talents: Fight Back - Reflects 20% of the attacks received within 5m Endurance Burst - Vid explains it XD Riposte - When blocking with weapon (not shield) 30% chance to counter with 50% of atk Fight to death - 20% chance to increase Atk by 50% but lower def by 50% when attacked for 15sec (25sec CD) Wild Nature Awakened - When HP gets below 30%, Increase Atk 20%, recover 20stamina per second but lowers def by 20% for 15sec (30sec CD) Greatsword skill: Counter Lifesteal - When attacked, automatically counterattacks with 30% lifesteal (60% if target is NPC) for 20sec (30sec CD) Buff Counter Lifesteal whenever it is ready so that you can deal and heal yourself whenever you are trying to defend from attacks. The massive downside for this is my class skill is Fearless Kick rather than Taunt. XD

Hopefully theres a better of changing the behavior of the follower on the fly. Some tribal camp bosses have these annoying triple AOE jumps that instantly knock people down. If theres a button that can change the behavior to Prioritize Dodge or Evasion, then it would be easier for followers to survive.
